Captions please ;)

By Angi_Wallace
Thanks to Pete and the guest editors for the awards over the last weekSmile

This has got to be the coolest reptile pose I have managed to photograph ever, so we need a bit of a caption competition Wink

After running so many reptile photography days for other people I thought it was about time I had one( or 3) myself as I feel that I need to up my game, I spent a couple of hours today, an hour yesterday, and an hour on Saturday snapping away and Ive thoroughly enjoyed myself. This is my favourite capture from today.

Ive set myself some serious challenges with the reptile photography, my only difficulty is mainly equipment as I need high speed sync for some of my intended images and I dont have canon speedlights or pocket wizards and most certainly cannot afford them, but for now Im going to use the theory underpinning collision droplet shots to capture certain snake species striking, not easy to do in the dark, but the ambient light ruined my strike shots on Saturday with a venomous snake. I guess I wont be using venomous snakes in the dark :/ which is annoying as they strike so effectively, so Im making do with some other aggressive snakes in the dark - lots of patience, time and a little bit of luck.Snakes are so hard to work with compared to frogs and people Smile
