Carmen Reflected ...

By sut68
About 45 mins before sun down on Saturday, I had a walk around the boats looking for some compositions using my 70-200mm. Had a good play trying out a few differnt apertures for different levels of detail and varied compositions.

Not necessarily going to be everyone's cuppa and won't get quite as much interest as the previous uploads [there's no sunset in it], but I like it - hence the post.

Cheers for making it thus far Smile

I like both of them Paul - I would though Wink
Interesting compositions, I think I prefer V2 just that little bit more, just the angle of the boat.... but I like the reflection in V1 too! Aw actually no .. V1 wins! Sorry I used to be indecisive but now I not so sure lol

Like them Paul, lovely light and nice use of the lens and aperture to hold your interest where it should be. Can't make my mind up between the two, I like #2 for the boats name but can't help feeling I'd like to see more of the mast.

Prefer V1. Nice detail. Like the DOF used

Cheers all. Surprised at there being this much interest. V1 is my preference - hence the order they were stuck up Smile

If I had to choose, I would say V1. Lovely light on the boat, and the colour of the boats woodwork is a delight.

I like it too. Different, but the light on the boat (in particular the varnished wood) and the FG detail means it works well. Dof is well chosen too.
