Now this I do like, not that I didn't like the previous, but this has a sense of scale and the composition is spot-on.

I can't believe it. I commented on this earlier and even watched it re-display my comments, and now they are gone. LOL - Maybe the monitors didn't like my wisecracks about your wellie poems! I did mention that this one has so much detail that you can easily see the single long and curved line on the stone. Perfect angle too.

I prefere the composition in this one but I'm no expert. You must have a real steady hand to hand hold so well at 1/20 sec. Good shot.

Hi Jeanie.

I really like this image and love the stone carving. I've seen it a few times myself and shot some film here about 7 or 8 years ago. Unfortuneatly the weather was not up to much last time I visited so I have yet to do this place the justice you have!!

Ben I was restricted myself -would love to have taken one from a few feet to the left there and looking down Derwentwater but the sun would have been into the camera then.. Will return and try again one morning methinks Smile
