I went to a local nature reserve known as 'Healey Dell' looking for a composition that included the water fall. I could not get any inspiration, partly because on my mindset or the damp, cold weather conditions. So I changed my perspective and looked for something more intricate and saw these two branches that had fallen into the river and rested on some boulders. I chose a slow shutter speed to blur the water as it cascaded over the boulders.

It's the water movement by choice of shutter speed that attracted me to this shot.
I have images of waterfalls up to 30 metres high but often it's the small features in Brooks and streams that work best as you shown.
