Cassowary

By Wireworkzzz
Photographed at Australia Zoo. Cassowaries are native to New Guinea and North Eastern Australia. They live in deep the rainforests and their diet mainly consists of fruit. At 1.5 to 2m in height they are very shy but can be extremely dangerous if cornered or threatened. They have a razor sharp claw on the inner toe of their feet which can be up to 5inches long and they have been known to kill humans.

Very big thankyou to techno, ddolfelin, rontear and RGG for the user awards on WW! Diggers
