Took this last night, up by the Beacon, a little way out of Richmond.
At a height pf 1061 ft above sea level, the view from the beacon is quite tremendous, to the south there is the vale of York, to the North Teeside and away to the east is the ridge if high ground which form the Cleveland, Hambleton and Howardian hills and of course to the west is gods own country itself, Swaledale.
This is taken looking south, south-east over Richmond towards the Vale of York, love the way the setting sun picked out the Castle Keep in this Autumnal landscape.
All C&Cs welcome
Thanks for looking
