Central horizon, central subject - breaks the rules very stylishly! I think it's the textured beach at the base that makes this work, with all the horizontal lines above receding to the horizon.

Once again, your eye for composition kicks ass. This is so well set out.
I initially thought it would give a cleaner, more minimalist look if you'd cropped it just above the furthest breaking wave. But that would've removed the sense of distance.
