Catching The Light

It certainly wasn't catching the wind - there was not a breath.
What there was, was fog.
And me with a 70-200mm lens of all things.

I hadn't meant to go to the wind farm (thus the long lens) but that is where I ended up - with these monsters appearing and disappearing in the fog. At something like 145m to the tip of the blade they are BIG!

I will warn you now - this will be the start of a series.

That is a great image in all respects. Wouldn't have had the slightest chance of working out what it was without your explanation. The mystery makes it all the more appealing.
