Cats Eye

By tavm
I was in the garden taking pictures of some flowers with my first macro lens, sigma 150mm. It is a lot of trial and error but great fun. The neighbors cat was way to interested and kept getting up close. so I took a few shots..
I will try in better lighting but I think, with a bit of work it might look quite good. Any advice on lighting for macro . I have a SB600 flash but have not used with this lens yet.

My cat would have buggered off if I'd got that close. Great capture.

This is an arresting image. I can't get my cat to come near enough to get a shot like that. Well done.
