I found this a bit dull and lacking in contrast, so I did a mod to try and rectify that. My taste, just a suggestion, I usually find B&W conversions need to have more contrast then colour to separate the tones. I hope you like it.
I love cauliflower cheese and included in a veggie pasta sauce.

Aww Willie, I like the waving leaf, I did a couple without but I set it free
Thanks for the mods, it does look better in the toned version without the waving arm though, I think straight forward mono with no wave looks a tad straight forward for me

Lol, it is now
Diane, I am going to draw a face on the Cauli, just so I can see where it is scratching
James, that's a great mod, thank you and I like the tones too
Bill, thank you so much for your UA, very complimentary for a B&W.
I never know where to stop with B&W conversions, one teeny step too far and the image is ruined. I must do more ....maybe....
There will be another, perhaps, but not mono

Its a great image, but I find it rather macabre. For me, it is more than faintly reminiscent of a scene from a post mortem with the pathologist weighing the deceased brains on a pair of scales. I have never seen a cauliflower in that way before, but you seem to have caught the resemblance. The waving leaf is essential to dissipate my rather morbid view.
I'm always looking for images that show me the familiar in a new and unfamiliar way, so I absolutely have to give you an award for this.
