Cellarium 2

By ghibby
Another shot from the beautiful Cellarium at fountains abbey. Again this is an HDR image of three separate frames, I used pretty much the same processing techniques as my previous upload but spent a little more time getting the balance between detail and warmth/glow in this image though.

At the time of taking I wanted to emphasise the cross in the background so I used a longer lens to compress the perspective more. While it does not quite have the feeling of depth that the other image has I feel it shows the size of the place more realistically making the viewer realise just how big those columns are in reality.

Exposures: 0.4, 1.6 and 6.0 seconds @ F14 and 58mm Focal length.

Beautiful tones and colours. The cross in front of the far window also makes an excellent focal point.

Great image - must have a go at HDR myself! It is very impressive. Well done!
