Chainsaw Massacre

By chase
I did actually massacre my chainsaw for this...it needed oiling anyway, that's my excuse Blush
I just had to get some of my oilcans out !

Taken in daylight, camera left.
An HDR image, 3 frames each 1 stop apart combined in lightroom.
Finished in Photoshop with a tidy up crop, levels and a touch of contrast.

Thanks for dropping by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
I trust you are all staying safe and well.
Janet xx

Well, oil be! Not the usual 'pretty' still-life shots we see, but it's different and very well put together and presented, Janet, love it! 😃👍
Trev 😀
Love the old oil cans, remind me of my Dad's garage! A nicely composed and captured image.

All that work and it still had to be thrown out. These greasy old cans sure do make a great image. I can only imagine what I could come up with, with all my husbands old greasy stuff. I really like what you've done here.

Trev, lovely to have your UA, many thanks, appreciated.

No rubber gloves were harmed during the filming Tom, the wrench came in handy though ! Wink

Yep, all I have to do now is put it back together...hmmmmmm.

Get the grease cans out Sandy, muck and grease make great textures.
My Dads' shed used to look like this too Carol.

Yes it does look like a garage from yesteryear. I remember having a long spouted oil gun like that red one. It all goes together well. David

Similar thought as others form me, but I see the chainsaw being tortured to extract information...

BTW, Janet...do you have an oil-can fetish? You seem to have quite a few...Wink
