Chalk Ripples

By redstag
I was really taken by the strange shapes in the Chalk here, so smooth and bright, very clean.
We went to Seaford as Children, my Grandfather lived there, but I must admit I only have vague memories of the place. It certainly seems to have changed with some very clean modern looking beach huts.
This little beach at the far end of Seaford beach was worth a visit though, and as the sun was low in the sky, I got some great textures thrown up.
Hope you like it.

Have a great Christmas everyone.

Jon

Thanks all for the comments. Mike, think I overdid this with the Green and Red sliders in PS, hence the very dark sky in the Mono version, but I quite liked the sort of other world feel to it.
The chalk really does look quite surreal.
Di, it may look warm, but I took this about two weeks ago, and it was very cold! Especially as the sun went down.

Both are great shots. I like the warm glowing colour in V1 but the mono version does have surreal feel about it that works for me.
