Seaton Delaval Hall is fully open again, after the National Trust's biggest ever restoration project.
The Hall was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh (Blenheim, Castle Howard...) for the Delaval family, who had a reputation for playing practical jokes.
The restoration has kept their spirit alive. The replanted South East Garden has distorted mirror features hidden off the beaten track, to surprise visitors.
There will be more uploads...
Thanks for looking,
Moira
