The signal was given and the Confederates ran over open ground as a break in the canon and rifle fire from the Unionists openened up...


This image was slightly blurred through camera movement so to try to add some extra sharpness contrast. I selectively sharpened areas such as the faces and hands and parts of the rifles before adding more selective motion blur to the rest of the image to suggest even more movement.

Added a sepia version too...?

Not really sure which I prefer but will go with V2. Love the bit of blur, so fitting with the theme. Great expressions captured too. A super capture..........Sandy

That's effective with the blur Caleb, like both versions but I think V1 just slightly more Smile

I like the amount of movement here. Just enough to show a sense of speed without it becoming an abstract.
