From my last trip to the Shoebury foreshore - once the sun was up - think I must have blinked and missed it with all the cloud on the horizon - I decided to try a B&W conversion as there was little or no detail in the sky…

Have a great weekend,

Mike

My favourite seashore images Mike. These are all fantastic and I love the use of mono on this; seems somehow to add to the effect of loneliness of the boat being the only one on the sand. Stunning shot.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileTongueTongueTongueWinkWinkWinkWink

Interesting how the mono puts the boat and reflection in center stage-- not much else to look at--

Normally I like this type of image in colour but your mono conversion is great. Just love the reflections. A beautiful image, well captured

What I like so much about this, Mike, is the way the B&W conversion has almost eradicated any detail in the surrounding landscape, so that the boat and its reflection stand in such stark isolation. I'm reminded of the vessel in the Pirates of the Caribbean stranded in the surreal desert.

The 'high key' look works extremely well Mike.

Nicely done in B & W - seems to define the textures more. John
