Near Cat Tien National Park there is a village Tà Lai. I organised the visit at the park headquarters as you need a special permit, a guide , a vehicle and driver. It does not cost a lot (just over £10) and it’s the only way to get there. The permit gives a bit of money to the village. The driver and the guide were local and did everything they could to answer my questions in broken English, gestures and laughter.

As we were walking through Tà, Lai we came across this lady doing her cooking in her outdoor kitchen.

F10 1/60th sec zoom at 70mm crop in Photofiltre

The other photos are a less cropped version (top and bottom) some houses, a service station (not the type you’re familiar with though) and the catholic church.

Thank you for the comments on “Flowers in the rain”, always nice to them read as usual.

Hoping you will like this new photo and waiting to receiving your comments, critique or advice.

Have a nice evening. It’s the week-end!

An interesting mixture of plastic and beautifully carved containers. Is the building off the ground for storing their food I wonder?
Lovely series of everyday scenes for these people

The series certainly gives me an appreciation for the life style I live. They are all super photos, so clear, with wonderful color and detail. Thanks for taking the time to present them all, and for your excellent write-up.
