I wouldn't necessarily say cheeky. Humorous, benign, intelligent. Plus there's almost a conspiratorial look, he knows what you are doing, he's enjoying it and joining in the fun. And his calm demeanour balances the girl's uncertainty in the background. This is superb reportage, doing what only photography can do - capture the moment with all its promise and its questions for the future.

In V2 the eye contact the priest has with the boy, the shared understanding, comes across perfectly.
Another excellent reportage, very different from last Sunday's but of equally high quality.
