I created this this morning out of boredom and will probably take it down at some stage. I want to do something with it though but feel a bit blanked creatively speaking. So its here for anyone to do mods on. Anyone who likes can also save the large version for themselves to use on their own images.

Look forward to seeing any ideas you creative guys have.

Thanks Barry. Actually a zoom blur is quite interesting too. Paul

I know how you feel of late, spent a week up north and came back with nothing that really pushed the buttons as much as I liked... Suppose I prefer the winter for photography Smile

Keep going, it will spark again !!!

You think looking at a cheque room is problems paul try staring onto white paper for an hour or so AHHHHHHH.
that said you can never go wrong with the old pattern, used it many times and will continue to in the future.
Go for a walk the only thing that works for me.

Take care

i saw this and thought it would look really cool if it had a man/woman in the frame with the same checked pattern sort of trying to camouflage but as i have no expertise in Photoshop to try it... just thought i would chuck that in as an idea

Thanks guys. Nice one Brian, thats worth taking a bit further, chequered flags and all that.
George, it does seem a good background for a model. I'd probably take that a stage further too. She's obviously lit from the front. how about a shadow running behind the model and around the feet.

My other thought with a car would have been a silhouette with the chequered inverted and a slight bevel, but the silhouette of the formula ford wasn't distinctive enough when I tried it. Perhaps that's food for thought for someone with a more suitable shot.

A model works well in the shot also.

I like these type of screw your eyes up pics and George has just the pretty girl (wife) to put there. Now if she'd just move Queen - Knight 2 please Smile
Thanks 4 the share Smile

Looking at my birds (on my mod) now, I think they need a destination - some sort of black hole or vortex maybe on that white square. Interesting to work on and to see what others did. So your blankedness sparked ideas. I know I am wondering what I am doing at the moment. Have taken a lot of landscape - but I don't feel like a landscape photographer. I walk a lot though, so I see a lot of landscape....

Thanks Carlos.
Now Sue, that's different. The birds give it a totally new dimension which takes it in a different direction altogether.. Smile
Keep them coming and I'll upload a couple of variations based on the ideas and themes.

Very impressive Paul - lifelike reflection and that bit of shadow make it very realistic!
