Chewed Agaric

I think this is a baby Fly Agaric, Amanita muscaria, well chewed by the slug population.
I thought it was a bit different and a decent view of the fibrous inside.
Wee bit of gardening done, but nothing drastic, I left his 'hat' on as removing it would have damaged the 'shroom even more.

The bg is just the woodland floor with the light hitting whatever was there a the time, I quite like the bokeh it created.

I wonder....this Fungus is an hallucinogenic...do the slugs go on a 'trip' once they have had their fill ? Wink

Taken in available daylight with a small piece of gold card to put some reflected light into the chewed bit.

Tidy up crop and a levels adjustment in Photoshop.

It's one way to come to terms with being a slug, and having everyone hate you.

Their little drug lord house. I think the slug that did artwork on my door a while back must have gone to the drug house.

Very good. I've found it difficult to find specimens with backgrounds far enough away not to be "in the shot". You did good here. How did you get it all in focus at just F8? My milkcaps weren't even at F22 BlushWink

Excellent, super details, looks like we have been photographing the same things this last 2 weeks - still lifes with pumpkins and squash, and mushrooms outdoors Smile
