I think this is a baby Fly Agaric,
Amanita muscaria, well chewed by the slug population.
I thought it was a bit different and a decent view of the fibrous inside.
Wee bit of gardening done, but nothing drastic, I left his 'hat' on as removing it would have damaged the 'shroom even more.
The bg is just the woodland floor with the light hitting whatever was there a the time, I quite like the bokeh it created.
I wonder....this Fungus is an hallucinogenic...do the slugs go on a 'trip' once they have had their fill ?
Taken in available daylight with a small piece of gold card to put some reflected light into the chewed bit.
Tidy up crop and a levels adjustment in Photoshop.
Thanks for getting here.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
