6 inches of snow in Vermont? I think yes.
Went to a funeral across the country (4 horrible plane flights... [I hate riding planes]), from Washington to Vermont. So not the happiest visit, but we tried to make the best of it. Washington got a little snow today, but Vermont got a lot. If you don't know me that well, I'm a "snow-maniac."
Washington almost never gets snow, and when we do, it's only a centimeter or so, and it melts within the hour. I guess that's why I love snow so much.
There were chickadees and blue jays constantly fluttering around the bird feeder that my relative had up, and they didn't seem to mind when I got within a few meters' length of them. I could only stay out for a little bit at a time, though, because it was -4 degrees farenheit and being a Pacific Ocean person, I wasn't acclamated (SP?) to the cold weather. So I got this shot of a chickadee. I already cropped a lot of the photo out, but I like keeping part of the branches because it shows the depth of field... please leave your thoughts about this.
Nothing will make up for my lost cousin, but taking photos in the snow eased my mind a little.
