Chicken Licken

Taken a couple of weekends ago on the beach at South landing near Flamborough.
I have a few of these in mono and colour and could not decide which I like the best, I might upload more in the future.....or maybe I won't Wink

Thank you all so much for your votes and comments and UA's on my 'Grilled Cheese'....thank you all also for your concern and interesting suggestions.
A bit of good news is that I left one unopened leaf intact on the plant and it has recovered to a better position, more uprightish (still with black patches though) It might make some interesting shots when it starts to open.

Chicken lichen or cat lapping, Diane? A fine wet Sandy beach here, and very strong sky. A good place for practicing “Near, and far away” for Dougal and Ted perhaps 😎
