Thank you for your response to my last up-load of the two Vietnamese ladies and their conical hats. There is something magical when you see a scene like that as itís exactly like you imagine Vietnam.

Many of you made remarks about the beautiful beach in Nha Trang. The photos were taken in early March and there was hardly anybody on the fine sand. And the water was warm!!!!!!

Along the beach there is a beautiful promenade with lovely trees providing some needed shade. It reminded me of the ĒPromenade des AnglaisĒ in Nice, not as posh but far more picturesque.
There was an area with lots of small groups of men looking at something on the ground.

Intrigued I went towards a group and saw two men were playing some board game and the others were watching with interest. A friendly gentlemen who was watching the game told me in good English they were playing Chinese Chess.

Those men of various ages come after work to play and compete with one another. The board is a piece of cloth with the squares drawn on it. There was a lot of concentration and some cheering when someone won a game. Great atmosphere! I hope Iíve conveyed it in this new series.

LOL! I saw something like this in Lisbon-- A group of men watching a game-- No helmets there, wonder if the helmets would be stolen if left lying on the grass or some such? --Good gathering of images!

Good set. Real social interaction in the open air. That's positive. And V8 is delightful, it would be nice if the gentlemen got to see this.

They're playing chinese checker or perdigama or dama. Seems like they enjoying it too much. They dont mind if you wish to shoot as many times as you like. I like the smiles of v6 n 8. Great shots JNC.
