Chip and Dale

By SamanthaDonPhotography
Two new friends I made yesterday. I have named the chipmonk Chip and the squirrel Dale lol I wanted to prove to everyone how tame the animals here are because my father feeds them. So I took my cameras outside and set up my tripod to get some footage then decided to spend the rest of the afternoon sitting on the deck taking photographs. They are actually only about 2 foot away from me and sometimes would come right up to check me out lol Even got footage of two of them fighting lol Anyways, I used my kit lens for this and over exposed the shot so that they would be nice and clear. I also sharpened it and cropped it in photoshop

Thank you for uploading the video

LOL Grin Grin
Such a lovely film! I too love filming squirrels !!!

Have to say, in the very end, when they both scramble in different directions, it looked like any alarm going off in FPS Shooting Game and everyone dived for cover Grin

Yeah I'm thinking of doing a voice over lol

A tripod + patience = success.

Nice image, - mod has white balance corrected.

The Chipmunk will easily feed from your hand if you give it a try. Just needs more of that patience.

i was thinking of that willie......but i dont want to get bitten lol ill give it a go tho with my fathers gloves. talking about white balance how do you know that it is correct

A wonderful opportunity, Samantha, and you took good advantage of it.

It's a great shot, with the two eyeing each other up.
Just a shame they weren't a bit closer together, but this is understandable, they are keeping their distance from each other.

The video is fun to watch, thanks for showing that.

ur welcome and thanks for the comments
