The 'technique' is still a little wishy-washy at the moment, but I'm nearly there. If I crack this then I'll be certainly writing some form of tutorial to help people try this style.

All I can say initially is that the lighting set-up is the most important part of this final outcome and if not done with this style in mind, it won't work.
