Not surprised he looks sad, bearing in mind how the local football club are performing at present...especially when the Toon are flying high in the PL...that has to hurt.

Interesting interpretations. The sculpture is hollow, concave, so yes it's like a death mask.
I liked that bubble appearing as a tear drop.

I can see the glitter and happiness in those eyes in the festive backdrop, love the bokeh and colour contrasts, a brilliantly composed abstract, many interpretations possible...Well Done...
