Church and gables Church Street, Worcester, South Africa

By handre
Many towns in South Africa have unique architectural designs, but is this always appreciated enough? Do we spontaneously verbalize our appreciation for these gems? If one moves around every day in the same town or city, will you not just simply become accustomed to the vernacular around you and see this without actually perceive and internalize the scenery around you?

A Sensation of absolute ecstasy developed in my mind when I recently walked along church street, Worcester in the Western Cape Province, South Africa. The spectrum of gables of buildings that entered my field of vision again and again was absolutely amazing. All these are individual masterpieces as shown in the series of photographs below. Each picture speaks for itself in terms of style, elegance and visual impact.

This church building with it's unique gables is one example in a series of 22 photos of buildings with gables taken in Church Street, Worcester, South Africa.
