The church of St Mary the Virgin is the historic parish church of Totnes, the site of Christian worship here since at least the 11th, and probably the 10th century. It is the oldest building in Totnes still in use for its original purpose. Having had enough of getting wet in the rain, I was passing the church, which is set back on High Street, just a few metres walk from where I took the images in my previous upload and decided to go in. It is very lovely inside, and I took more photos here than outdoors!
