Church on the Hill

By Fefe
This is Godshill, a much photographed and painted scene in the Isle of Wight this summer.
I do have the same shot from a few years ago somewhere deep in my pf.
This year I was lucky enough to get the shot with just one car parked... at least it is not a clapped out Mondeo WinkTongue
I hope you like it Smile The version in Mono. Please view large.

Thank you all so much for recent C&C and UA's GrinGrinGrin

Chocolate box image, Diane. The car at least is of a colour that does not disturb the scene too much. Park out of shot next time.Tongue

A beautiful composition. I prefer the colour one. You need to carry a large rhododendron bush, or similar, with you to put in front of offending cars.

I think you've used the same tripod holes as when I was there! Looking at the images I took when there back in April 2014, mine's almost exactly from the same position. I was lucky, and no parked cars! Looking at the mono, without the car, it could have been taken 100 years ago. Love both versions, Diane 👍
