Circles of fusion!

By Pricey
This is the last from my night out doing Low light photography.

The first attempt didn't catch the whole reflection.
For this my new 70D was mounted on a tripod and just an inch from the edge, typically my wife who tripped the shutter was having kittens.
Thankfully all went well.

Excellent image, very creative and you've managed to turn an ordinary canal scene into something special. How you achieved this effect intrigues me, a sparkler on a piece of string perhaps?!

Hi Andrew, and thank you for your user award.

Your almost right, except it's not a sparkler.
Instead it's wire wool in an egg whisk tied to a piece of string and then spun around.

If you look up 'Wire wool spinning' on the net there are many tutorials and examples.
Apart from trying it out in the garden, this was my first attempt.

Also did a few in tunnels as well. The results weren't too bad, but
I didn't think they looked as spectacular as this.

Cheers Tony
