Classic Lighthouse

Here is one from the Archive, quite extensive it is too, ha ha.

Shot in 2006, showing the lighthouse when it used to be lit at night. Sadly, no more.....

Wow, what a jaw dropper. Lovely the velevety purple hue contrasted with the orange glow of the subject. Artfully done.

nice image, not totally sold on the central composition, if you mask off some of the LHS it improves it in my humble opinion, great shot though, exposure very well cotrolled-Ian

thanks Ian. I accept your point of view, I sometimes do place the lighthouse to one side or another. I have never had a problem with a central position either though, sometimes its what I like. Smile

Ummm WOW !!!!!
Love the comp , the depth , the colours and the way the foreground rocks lead you deep in to the picture, The way they curve to the left almost to the horizon line , which then draws your eye to that beautifully lit lighthouse.

An excellent shot really well composed. I think the central positioning of the lighthouse works perfectly. Love the reflections and tones. Exposure spot on!
