This one has really got something going for it. I love Eagles and saw plenty of Bald ones when visiting my uncle in Canada as a teenager. We were salmon fishing off Quadra Island and had caught little that morning. All of a sudden, but it was so awesome that it appeared slo-mo, this Bald Eagle swoooped down about 15 feet to the stern and picked up a salmon and then flew off. I was so awestruck that I did not think to grab my old canon AE-1 and attempt a shot. The image lingers in my mind but this shot gets pretty close to what I experienced. Thank you for sharing and rekindling a lovley old memory. I was with my cousin Mark at the time. He would love to see this shot!

Kind regards
Julian

It may be humorous as "the one that got away" but it is beautifully unique and a great shot, too.
You have certainly submitted some beautiful images since I last visited your pf, a joy to view.
