Cleaning double

By nellacphoto
So I was given a night photography course as a gift. A group of us with photographer Edo Zollo.
We began in Borough Market in London.

I grabbed this shot of a cleaner beginning his work as the market was closing
Didn't think much of it at the time

Then a while later I spotted Version 1 on a Street photography Facebook group

Thought that's a coincidence

Then noticed it was taken in Melbourne, Australia

Then noticed the photographer was Colin Allen ...exactly the same name as mine!

As they say, it's a small world ... (as long as you don't have to paint it)

Excellent night photography, Colin and by the look on the blokes face in your lead, I think he might have just knicked it.Smile

A very strange and small world Colin. I know Borough market really well and have seen the many changes over the years. I also think the wall behind the cleaner is Southwark Cathedral and anyone that doesn't know Lonodn one of the best walks in London. On the southside of the river go from London Bridge down along the riverbank to Westminster. The start goes around the back of Southwark Cathedral.

The course sounds as if it has opens your eyes to what goes on after dark. From your image you can see the marmer tones that night time brings. Great shot...
