Clear Air ...

... that's the beauty of being in the lead. Another from a very enjoyable [if a little hot] day at the Motocross circuit. A slightly more conventional angle this one, but another I am happy with none-the-less.

Feel free to pass this one by too Wink ... but as you're already here it'd be a shame not to view the large version, maybe even give a little comment as to why you do/don't like it ... new to this discipline so would appreciate your considered feedback Grin

V2 shows the next frame in the sequence. It looks fine on here but overly critical on the original shot the front forks have just softened a touch. Cheers for getting thus far though Smile

Great to shift between the two, looks like he is coming out of the screen, full speed ahead. Both great sharp captures...........Sandy

Hi Paul
i dont think you have anything to worry about, looks like you may have found another subject you are good at. V2 for me though as he is larger in the frame.

Im not sure what setting you went for but i always prefer wide open to blur the background as it make the riders pop from the screen or print, this could do with just a bit more of an out of focus background but not a lot.

V2 would be my choice Paul,a better placement in the frame, more of the shadow & a feeling of the rider coming straight out of the screen.

F4 on this [and most of them] Tony, f2.8 on that lens is a little soft for my liking ... nowhere near as sharp as the Canon at 2.8 that is.

V2 is probably my favourite of the two, too. One for his position in frame but also the angle of the bike looks a little more 3 dimensional with the back end just starting to step out a little, though as I mentioned in the description it's just a touch soft on the front forks hence posting V1 ... should've swapped them for here, doubt anyone would notice.

Cheers though all and I hope your comment goes green too Tony - ta whoever clicked it for CC Smile
