Clip y Gylfinir

By G_Hughes
"Clip y Gylfinir" or Curlew's Slope is a small hillock on the larger Rhiw mountain on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. It is the site of a radar station built to track objects tested at the Aberporth research facility in Ceredigion. This shot was taken from the trig point at the top of Rhiw during one of the temperature inversions that we experience here.

Love this shot, the combination of the hillock and the radar station in the mist gives it a very surreal but nonetheless appealing quality!

Compliments!
