So here we are in Dovedale with one of the umpteen GCSE Geography groups.
They struck me as a perfect illustration of the law that Nature abhores a vacuum. However much empty space and silence was available, they managed to expand and fill it.
And they were all talking so much that not one of them noticed me standing in front of them pointing the camera...
I hope they did learn something that day. Preferably about Geography.
I know bits of this are hopelessly washed out, but I like it. Thanks for looking.

Well captured Moira, looks like a good selection of teenagers, no cigarettes, spliffs, cans of beer etc in sight, or is that just me being synical.

my pervading memory of geography field trips to Ainsdale dunes consist of swathes of whisky Smile ooops.

It looks more sun filled than washed out Moira..a great candid shot and brings back memories of hiking around the Lake District in my teenage school years. Great fun and a great shot.
