Close Shave

In the the side streets of Sapa in the North of Vietnam each day is like market day with plenty of hustle and bustle,with people from different ethnic groups selling handicrafts or just meeting up for a good old natter.
In this picture you can see Red Zhou women enjoying each others company whilst to the left a young man is about to have a shave by one of many street Barbers.
What amuses me most is the position of the ladies basket just underneath the mans head whilst the barber in surgical mask sharpens his razor.

great street scene..interestingly the barber is also wearing a face mask! perhaps he's a dentist too?

This is such a interesting capture giving us a very small insight in life in other countries and the shot is full of interest and I love the basket positioning does the red lady knowsomething.

A wonderful colourful shot . So much going on . Perhaps the hair goes into the basket if they have a hair cut. It does look a bit like Sweeny Tod though !! xx
