Coal Tit

By Norfolkboy
Good morning folks,
A Coal Tit again today. Not had much chance to get down to the wood, the weather here is
awful. Very poor light and very wet. Hoping for a break in the monsoon Friday.
This image is from Tuesday when I managed to get a couple of hours between the rain.
Light was terrible and the birds thin on the ground but the "Coalies" still performed.
I was delighted with the response to the Robin image, a big thank you to all.
Colin

conditions must have been truly grim given your settings! i wonder whether a touch of negative exposure compensation would have benefit in terms of controlling the whites and of course offering that additional shutter speed?

Not bad at all Colin, considering the conditions you were having to shoot in

Perhaps a third down on the exposure, would have held the cheeks better

Think I would just have to agree with this comment Colin. Still a fine shot however.
