The content is good. In a tank or behind glass I assume? The quality is not so good. The top of the head is very over lit and burnt out. Difficult lighting, but it had to be addressed and you need to expose for the brightly lit area, then lighten the shadows later.
It could be sharper on the snake's face, but is quite sharp part way down the body, so you focused on the wrong bit.

When you are shooting in this sort of situation, don't worry about digital noise, but raise the ISO so that you can stop the lens down a bit (to cover focus errors and changes) and use a shutter speed that will freeze the action.
Like Moira, I'd have been well away from this - but if you are going to shoot, make sure that the focus and exposure are right - otherwise, it's jsut a snapshot, not anythign more.

There's some lovely detail on the skin but it's the eyes that need to be sharp.
However, in a situation like this I can understand that's not so easy.
In wildlife photography the welfare of the subject has to come first, but most advice stops there and rarely addresses the safety of the photographer. If you're safe you can relax and concentrate on the shot.
