A cute capture, Ed, he looks fluffed up against the cold. Carol

We used to see dozens of sparrows in the garden years ago but I seldom see a single one these days: pigeons, magpies, tits and the occasional robin is about it.
So nice to see this wee specimen which brings back memories of how things were.

Blending in but standing out ( a contradiction I know) - so fluffy I can feel those soft feathers.
Nice catch light too.

He's looking very puffed up and stern, Ed. Excellent candid portraiture of this little fella.

Jack Sparrow definitely shows a victorious pose on top of his perch.
It seems we hardly see them now, believe it or not I only see them during my rare visits to town!
