...Stac Pollaidh stands proud against a silvery sky from across Loch Osgaig on the Achnahaird road.
After you pass the mountains of Assent on this road it can appear boring but look back as you round the loch and a wonderful panorama of mountains greets the eyes.
Sometimes a sky like this rewards the journey more than blue sky and white clouds.
