The Christmascards are made, the decoration set up, snow is still lying and it is bitter cold this morning. -12°C!
When I look out of the window, a frosty morning with the upcoming sun and a bit of mist in the air says: WINTER!
It is still too early to get a decent image from my window's view. But I have some from yesterday, which are quite beautiful, at least this is what I think.
Hope you like them too.
V1 is the sign, that marks the spring of the river Neckar, the biggest afluent of the Rhine in Germany. The lake, where the Neckar has its origine is something special. Through its middle runs the European watershed. On the northern end, the Neckar flows towards the Rhine, and from there the water goes to the North Sea.
The southern end is the spring for a little rivulet, that takes its water to the Danube, and to the Black Sea. Thus, our little moor is the bond, between North Sea and the Mediteranean. Wow!
I hope to catch up with you, and wish you all a good weekend,
