cold dawn at earl crag

taken this morning, was hoping for a little stronger light illuminating Lund tower in the distance, with the f/g still in shade, to help draw your eye better in to the frame, but had to be content with more softer diffused light.

f18 @ 19mm - 0.8sec - iso 100 - 3 stops soft grad

very cold looking scene - nice leading with the worn pathways amongst grasses leading to the tower beyond - nice natural colours

Nicely done from what might, I suspect - but may well be wrong as I don't know the area - , have been a very poor scene in different light and no frost; but then that is what it's all about, isn't it? Choosing the light and the land!
I like it a lot.
