Here's a wider, and perhaps more sinister view.

The Ilyushin IL-76 (NATO code name Candid) first flew on 25 March 1971, and 960 examples have been built.

I agree with both Phil and Dave. Military aircraft have long fascinated me, though I'm unfamiliar with this particular model - the 'face' reminds me of the same angle on the Handley Page Victor such as I saw at Farnborough in the late 'fifties.

The wider angle viewpoint makes the smile/leer even more sinister. Great capture with good presentation.
