Great shot, thats a Collie to a T, well caught. I might have cropped a little tighter but it is still a good image having caught the dog with both front paws off the ground. Good work

Happy New Year

Nice shot, I would have cropped a little bit tighter and it looks a little flat to me.

I like the mod - happy picture of the dog having fun - superb action shot

Border Collie shots usually grab my attention and this is no exception- a great action capture which is in keeping with the character of a collie. Nice to see the shot taken at the eye level of the dog. I agree with the need for a crop- how about a square crop giving a little more room to the left as the dog seems to be going in that direction- just retaining the distant curve of the path/left and the detailed grass in foreground/right. I shall have to put mine through their paces! Cheers, Gary

its a lovely picture of the dog bounding towards you and its been exposed well and kept sharp which is the big thing and yet there is a little movement where there should be.

if i have any niggles , its probably that there is rather a lot of space both sides of the dog which is simple and uncluttered but not particularly of interest so i played around with a bit of a mod which i hope you like. i cropped more into a vertical as the dog is moving towards you and concentrates on that action. i also boosted the mid tones and added a little sharpening before saving to srgb

i dont know too much about dogs but this is what i would have, its a lovely and looks full of fun

I agree with Phil's crop. Give that collie center stage! Good action shot though.

A great shot - captured the Collie very well having the time of its life - I think the mod by Phil really emphasises this - nice one - - have a great 2010
