Well done on a delightful capture, Mavis - this brought a big smile to my face immediately upon viewing. Whilst a portrait crop also works, I think isolating the dog with the central positioning within the landscape frame accentuates his/her 'vulnerability' whilst the snowdrops really enhance the scene ... hope you threw the ball!

Thanks Skye , Rosie and James. I did think of putting him in Portrait mode but felt it told a story of amongst the Snowdrops . They were what we had gone out to photograph LOL xx

Love it Mavis. He was a real poser wasn't he? I have a similar one but without the ball. Don't think it would have the same impact! Hugs.

We hadn't a pen between us so the dear old Lady who was so proud of her wee dog told me her address and we memorised it between us till we got to the Hotel where we had lunch . Hope she enjoys the picture . xx

Ha, great shot. I would have liked to see a little tighter crop so we could really see the expression.

My wife and I just wiped away a tear. This looks just like our Tony that died about 4 years ago. It was the saddest thing in our lives. Give me a Spaniel any day.
