Come Hull or Haweswater

By redstag
The last shot of the day, not the best, not the worst, but I like it. It's Haweswater, we were beginning to think that we wouldn't get any more shots from the day, then Nick let me have a play with his very wide angle lens. I had some fun.

Hope you don't mind but I think that if you cropped the sky off you would have a stunner..

John, I don't mind at all and will give a tighter crop a go. Thanks for the advice.

Clicked on this earlier but neglected to leave a comment, have looked at the mod, and in my opinion there isnt much in it, perhaps the cropped version slightly but just slightly edges it.

A beautiful setting with the shaft of light and the silhouetted tree in its path having the focal point well established...the snow on the surrounding mountains helps lift the reduced light.

Especially good in the large version Jon. That WA lens has produced a fine panorama.

I like this, but the mod gets my vote as it works better as a panoramic.
