Come in number 56!

Hope you all had a great Bank Holiday Smile
Had a day out to Knaresborough yesterday as it was so sunny…but it was a very chilly wind! Though I’ve often been on Bank Holiday Mondays before, I’ve never seen it so busy with visitors, especially in rowing boats on the River Nidd.

Techie stuff – see Exif

Looks like a great time was being had by all, Trev Smile. A well captured set of images, and all the better for being taken in sunshine! Carol

Super set of images Trevor.
Love the light, colours and activity. I like them all.
Looks like you had a great day.
Was V3 & V4 taken from Mother Shipton’s and did you have to pay?

Certainly looks a popular spot judging by the numbers enjoying the River: bet the town was seething! 4 most attractively captured shots of "mucking around on the river", Trev. Of them all, I think I like V 1 your leader the best, but it's a hard choice.
Ronnie.

I didn't go into Mother Shiptons, David (I believe you do still have to pay). All four images were taken from the same side of the river, V3 & V4 being shot from behind the railings and between the gap in the trees on the right in V2, looking back to where I took V1 & V2 from.

Haha, one reason why I stay at home on Bank Holidays! I think the bridges in Vs 3 and 4 are extremely photogenic.

A lovely set - particularly like V3 and V4, with the viaduct making such a strong composition. I would like to have seen the next few shots - given how the people in the blue boat seem to be standing up and moving about such a lot, surely the boat capsized soon after this, lol!!!

Great shots Trev, looks a lovely place for a day out. My sister and I are going canoeing in a couple of weeks, first time for her so anything could happen....
