This picture has been created from a photograph taken at Upton House, a National Trust property near Banbury in Warwickshire in March 2009.
It was a beautiful, sunny day!
There are some shadows on the petals which I would have liked not to have been there but, there you go, you often can't always have everything!
I can't wait for the weather to improve and for Spring to arrive with all the colour and freshness which that season brings us!

Coming soon, but not soon enough, ****. Like you we like to get out and about around National Trust properties, but until then we can browse through marvelous images like yours.

I like the 3D effect very much and IMHO the shadows help with that.
