We've seen this behaviour frequently over the fields around our way, and never understand why the buzzard, being two or three times the size of its tormentor, doesn't just turn round and politely suggest it goes away unless it wants to be on the menu. A good study of bird behaviour here.

I have seen this too, must be a protection of the babies thing?
